Price and availability

Orders are subject to availability. Every care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and specifications are correct. All dimensions are approximate and while we make every effort to reproduce colour accurately, there may be slight variations that occur.

Returns and exchanges

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase we will refund or exchange any item as long as both the packaging and the goods remain intact and are returned in perfect condition within 10 working days. Please give the reason for the return and post the item securely in its original packaging. Please ask for Proof of Postage from your Post Office, as we cannot refund items lost or broken in transit. Returns are dealt with as soon as they arrive, but please allow 14 days for your refund or exchange to be processed. Return postage will only be refunded if the goods are faulty. Security

Buying products from the Glyndebourne Shop is as safe as using your credit card in the high street. Your credit card and personal details are encrypted and sent via SSL (Secure Socket Layer), an industry standard for the transmission of private data. These details are temporarily stored in our secure database, where they are downloaded for offline processing. We don’t store any of this information for longer than is necessary to process your transaction.

How we use your data

Glyndebourne Enterprises Limited, and our appointed agents, collect and process personal information for the purposes of taking payment for shop and gallery purchases and direct marketing of Glyndebourne’s merchandise. We will not disclose your credit or debit card details to any third party. See our privacy policy for more information.

Gift Vouchers

Glyndebourne Gift Vouchers

Glyndebourne Gift Vouchers can be used to buy tickets for performances or programmes, and purchases from the Glyndebourne Shop.

Gift Vouchers are available to purchase for any amount starting from £10 and make an ideal gift for an opera lover. Available to purchase online or from the Box Office by calling +44 (0)1273 815000.

Gift Voucher terms and conditions

  • Gift Vouchers are valid for five years from date of issue.
  • They can be used to buy tickets for Glyndebourne performances, programmes and shop items at Glyndebourne only.
  • Gift Vouchers cannot be used at Dining at Glyndebourne’s restaurants or bars or on the Glyndebourne Shop website. In addition, they cannot be used at any other venue including Tour venues or cinema screenings.
  • If you wish to make payment for tickets with a Gift Voucher, please go online or telephone Box Office and Customer Service on +44 (0)1273 815000. For programmes or shop items please telephone the Glyndebourne Shop on +44 (0)1273 815033.
  • If you wish to use a Gift Voucher retrospectively, please telephone Box Office and Customer Service.
  • If you do not spend the entire balance of the Gift Voucher, the remaining balance will remain on the
  • Gift Voucher for use at a later date, within the original validity period. No cash refund will be given.
  • Gift Vouchers may be exchanged for tickets or goods of a higher price than the value stored on the voucher on payment of the difference.
  • Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash in part or whole, or replaced if lost or stolen.
  • Gift Voucher balance updates can be requested from the Box Office, original Gift Voucher terms and conditions from time of purchase apply.
  • Glyndebourne cannot be held responsible for lost or delayed post. To help ensure delivery we recommend orders are sent via Special Delivery at a cost of £8.95.
  • Gift Vouchers will normally be dispatched within three working days.
  • We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time.
14 DAY CANCELLATION PERIOD
  • You have the right to cancel a Gift Voucher within 14 days of purchase. After this period, your right to cancel will expire.
  • To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision in writing via post at Glyndebourne Productions Ltd, Lewes, East Sussex, BN8 5UU, or by emailing boxoffice@glyndebourne.com
  • If you cancel a Glyndebourne Gift Voucher, we will reimburse all payments received from you, excluding the cost of delivery.
WE WILL MAKE THE REIMBURSEMENT NO LATER THAN:
  • 14 days after we have received the return of any goods supplied, or;
  • (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or;
  • if no goods have been supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel the contract.
  • We will only reimburse the original purchaser, using the same means of payment as was used for the initial transaction.

Ticket credit vouchers

Glyndebourne Ticket Credit Vouchers are issued as a Membership benefit and cannot be purchased but can be used to buy tickets only online or via the Glyndebourne Box Office.

Ticket credit voucher terms and conditions

  • Each Ticket Credit Vouchers has a specific expiry date, please check individual vouchers for their expiry date
  • They can be used to buy tickets for Glyndebourne performances only online or via the Glyndebourne Box Office.
  • If you wish to use a Ticket Credit Voucher retrospectively, please telephone Box Office and Customer Service.
  • If you do not spend the entire balance of the Ticket Credit Voucher, the remaining balance will remain to be used until expiry date. No cash refund will be given. Ticket Credit Voucher balance updates can be requested from the Box Office, original Gift Voucher terms and conditions from time of purchase apply.
  • Ticket Credit Voucher may be exchanged for tickets of a higher price than the value stored on the voucher on payment of the difference.
  • We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time.

HOW WILL MY GIFT VOUCHERS BE DELIVERED?

Vouchers purchased online from Glyndebourne.com will be sent by email. You can choose to send this email to yourself or to your recipient’s email address.

For vouchers purchased from the Glyndebourne Shop website or over the phone, we use Royal Mail for deliveries. We offer Standard Delivery at a cost of £5.95 and Special Delivery at a cost of £8.95.

I NEED MY VOUCHERS TO ARRIVE TOMORROW, IS THAT POSSIBLE?

Your Gift Voucher can be sent via Special Delivery at a cost of £8.95 which ensures next day delivery in the UK. Orders must be received by midday to ensure same day postage. Please phone the Glyndebourne Shop on +44 (0)1273 815033 for details.

Force majeure: we cannot be held responsible for failure to meet service obligations when any failure is brought about due to some cause totally beyond our reasonable control. Examples of this might include: acts of God, trade disputes, governmental intervention, fire, flood and disruption to computer and IT infrastructure.
