Assistant Stage Manager
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Stage Manager to join us for the 2025 Festival
Reporting to the Head of Stage Management and Stage Managers you will be responsible for assisting the productions and working closely with Stage Management, Production Teams and Technical Staff
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- You will be working as part of a busy team assisting with the productions and working closely with Stage Management, Production Teams and Technical Staff.
- As part of a team you would be responsible in helping ensure that rehearsals run in a smooth and efficient manner.
- You must be able to liaise with other departments and ensure a good working relationship with the company as a whole.
- To assist in the running of performances on allocated productions, ensuring that established artistic and technical standards for such productions are maintained at all times.
- To ensure all safety measures are adhered to by the Performing Company in all rehearsals and performances
- To undertake training deemed necessary by your manage
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- You should have experience or formal educational qualifications in Stage Management.
- Experience in score reading
- The ability to demonstrate and communicate enthusiasm and professionalism in all aspects of the job
- To be physically active for long periods of time in the support of performers, production and technical staff
Hours of Work
The contractual hours are based on 40 hours per week. The job-holder needs to be flexible with working hours including evening and weekend duties.
Salary and Benefits
The Salary for this position is £558.42 per week (plus any agreed increases for 2025), plus any overtime and infringements as per the Equity agreement.
