Position: Associate Director
Simone is a music theatre maker passionate about work that brings joy, and reflects and affects the world we live in. She works across opera, musicals, gig theatre, film and more – anything with a song and a story. She co-founded Hera, celebrating and sharing music and stories by equity-seeking artists. As a performer, she has worked with artists ranging from Benjamin Clementine to Bryony Kimmings, and at opera houses, theatres and festivals across Europe. She trained at the University of York and GSMD, recently completing a fellowship on artist-activism. She’s honoured to have been a BBC Radio 3 Next Generation Voice 2019 and a Women of the Future Awards-winner 2020. Her debut play is published by Bloomsbury.
