Since graduating from Ohio State University with degrees in both vocal and bassoon performance, he has emerged as one of the leading lirico-leggero tenors and sung on international stages in the operatic repertoire of Bellini, Donizetti, Gluck, Mozart, and Rossini. He was nominated as Best Young Male Singer of the Year at the 2016 International Opera Awards. His recordings include Matilde di Shabran released in 2020 by Naxos, with the American tenor singing the role of Corradino to critical acclaim. Taken from the Festival 2021 programme book.
