Since studying on a full scholarship at RCM, the London-based tenor’s operatic roles have included Damon/Acis and Galatea, Belshazzar/Belshazzar, Dr Miracle/Le Docteur Miracle and Sailor/Dido and Aeneas. His recent oratorio highlights include Handel’s Messiah at the Royal Albert Hall and Mozart’s Requiem at St Stephen’s Cathedral, Vienna. As a keen exponent of experimental music, notable performances include Stockhausen’s Stimmung with Singcircle at Barbican Hall. Passionate about music education, he has worked with ETO’s education department on roles including Olly in Waxwings, an opera for children with special educational needs, and Orpheus in One Step Forward, a school collaboration. He has also performed Vaughan Williams’ On Wenlock Edge with LPO’s education department. He has won prizes at the Wigmore Hall International Song Competition and Copenhagen Lied Duo Competition.
