The young Italian baritone graduated in piano and opera singing with honours and honourable mention from Salerno State Conservatoire, simultaneously graduating in pharmacy. He studied further under baritones Rolando Panerai, Renato Bruson and Alessandro Corbelli, and attended the Accademia di Santa Cecilia Opera Studio in Rome under the guidance of Renata Scotto. He won the 64th AsLiCo competition, the international Spoleto competition and the 47th Toti dal Monte di Treviso competition. He has recorded for Decca, Deutsche Grammaphon, Warner Classics and Erato. Taken from the Festival 2023 programme book.
