From Samarkand, Uzbekistan, Bekhzod is an alumnus of The State Conservatory of Uzbekistan where he debuted the roles of Duca di Mantova/Rigoletto, Tamino/Die Zauberflöte, and the title role in Les contes d’Hoffmann. He subsequently joined the Opera Studio of Alisher Navoi Opera and Ballet Grand Academic Theatre in Tashkent where he sang Young Gypsy/Aleko and Boyar Lykov/The Tsar’s Bride. He won second prize at the 2021 Operalia and is currently a member of the Bolshoi Theatre ensemble. Taken from the Tour 2022 programme book.
