29 October & 1 November

Beethoven & Tippett

A concert performance of Beethoven's Fourth Symphony and Tippett's A Child of Our Time.

Beethoven’s masterful Fourth Symphony is contrasted with Tippett’s powerful oratorio A Child of Our Time.

This evening of contrasts demonstrates the full orchestral power of the Glyndebourne Sinfonia in a masterwork by a classical giant, followed by a groundbreaking 20th century choral piece where the Glyndebourne Chorus and soloists take centre stage.
