What are the benefits of under 40s Membership?

Under 40s Membership is for those aged 16-39 who would like subsidised tickets to visit Glyndebourne . They enjoy priority booking (after Festival Society and Associate Members) when they can book as many tickets as they would like before public booking opens. They can also enjoy up to 50% off a pair of Festival tickets.

HOW MUCH DOES UNDER 40S COST?

WILL THE ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION RATE INCREASE?

We will review the annual subscriptions for Under 40s Membership on a regular basis. Notification of a subscription increase will be sent to all members at least 4 weeks before renewal is due.

CAN GIFT AID BE CLAIMED ON THE ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION?

WHEN DO I PAY MY NEXT ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION?

You will be invited to renew your membership and arrange payment of your next subscription by the end of January each year for the following Festival.

AM I GUARANTEED TICKETS TO THE GLYNDEBOURNE FESTIVAL?

Priority booking through an Under 40s Membership offers a very good opportunity to secure tickets to the Festival before public booking opens but tickets are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Some productions and performances may be oversubscribed as Festival Society and Associate Members tickets will already have been allocated. You will be able to see up to date availability when you book online.
Standing places and slips seats are available to purchase when public booking opens and are not available during priority booking.

CAN I BE AN UNDER 40S MEMBER AND IN UNDER 30S AT THE SAME TIME?

Yes. Under 30s is free to join and is open to anyone aged 16 to 29. Under 30s tickets are heavily subsidised thanks to our New Generation Programme.
Subsidised Under 30s tickets are available to purchase for selected performances, subject to availability, after public booking opens and are not available during priority booking.
