Glyndebourne Academy finale weekend gallery

Glyndebourne Academy is an initiative aimed at supporting a small group of singers with exceptional promise, this year aged between 18 and 27, who have faced barriers to pursuing singing as a profession. The programme was first piloted in 2012, and this year’s Academy consists of 8 exciting and diverse young singers
from all corners of the United Kingdom and beyond.

Since auditioning in January and May, the young singers have been through a rigorous programme of learning and reflection, including an intensive residential week during August. On 20 October 2019, the students had the finale of their Academy programme to mark their achievements both individual and collective across the year.
