Open Days

This summer we’re hosting a weekend of open days – your chance to visit Glyndebourne and see what we do.
There are two ticket options to choose from:

Visit Glyndebourne

See the beautiful Glyndebourne gardens in the bloom of late summer, wander around the lake and take a look at our innovative beehives and dye garden.

You can also enjoy our art and sculpture exhibitions, browse in our shop and take a peek inside the auditorium.

You can enjoy a light lunch or afternoon tea at one of our restaurants, or bring a picnic to enjoy in the garden (see below for more info on food and drink options)

Price: £8 per adult, £4 for children (under 16s) and concessions.

Visit Glyndebourne + backstage tour

Want to see what happens behind the scenes? With this ticket, you can enjoy everything above, and add a backstage tour at selected times throughout the day. You’ll join our expert guides for a 45 minute look at our history, discover what it takes to create world-class opera at Glyndebourne, and meet some of the people who make it a reality. As part of the tour, you’ll get the chance to step onto our stage, and get a singer’s eye-view of the auditorium.

Price: £18 per adult, £9 for children (under 16s) and concessions. When you book you will be asked to select a time slot for your tour, but you can arrive at any time from 11.00am onwards.
