‘I was inspired that one family could contribute so much to opera and wanted to show their evolution parallel to that of opera itself. The idea has become a hybrid Glyndebourne/Opera family tree, illustrating the family’s evolution intertwined with composers, many of whose work successive generations of Christie’s have brought to the stage.’
