Glyndebourne Tour 2014
This autumn the Glyndebourne Tour 2014 delivers world-class opera to venues around the country.
On the road this year:
Verdi’s La traviata
Transferring direct from Festival 2014, a new production of Verdi’s masterpiece - one of the most popular operas of all time.
Mozart’s La finta giardiniera
Our second new production direct from Festival 2014, Mozart contrives dazzling music around seven characters in search of love, alternating between high comedy and serious drama in this rarely performed work.
Britten’s The Turn of the Screw
Britten’s brilliantly scored, insidiously compelling adaptation of Henry James’s novella takes it themes of childish innocence and adult corruption, then twists and turns them to disturbingly and ultimately devastating effect. A revival of the acclaimed 2006 production.
