Whether this is your ﬁrst or ﬁfty-first experience of opera, our series of additional activities provide insight into this year’s Tour productions.
Our 2012 repertoire is rich in inspiration for the pre-performance talks, our bitesize introductions to the operas. Each talk is presented by an operatic expert and lasts 30 minutes.

Following the performance of The Yellow Sofa on Wednesday 17 October, ticket holders are invited to stay for an informal post-performance discussion with members of the company. The discussion is free and will last around 20 minutes.

Dig deeper into the creation of this year’s new production, Le nozze di Figaro. Led by operatic experts with members of the production team and singers from the Glyndebourne Chorus, this event will provide you with a specialist insight into the opera. A new one-act opera by Glyndebourne Young Composer-in-Residence Luke Styles, with a libretto by Stephen Plaice. An original Glyndebourne commission, Lovers Walk will be performed by young people from Glyndebourne Youth Opera, the schools project Glyndebourne Young Voices, and the newly formed Glyndebourne Youth Company.
