Pre-performance talks
This year’s pre-performance talks will cover a range of subjects relating to the 2011 repertoire. These 30 minute talks, each costing £5, are presented by opera specialists in the Ebert Room. Details of the talks and speakers will be updated here in June 2011 and details will be emailed direct to ticket holders.

A full-day event led by music specialists with members of the production team and cast, presented in collaboration with the Centre for Community Engagement at the University of Sussex.

Family workshop: La bohème
Monday 24 October
Ebert room 1.30pm - 3.00pm
An interactive workshop ideal for ages eight and above, providing an energetic introduction to La bohème to engage the whole family.
Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.

We returned late last night from a perfect evening at Glyndebourne. It was our first visit as a family and we all hugely enjoyed the family workshop and performance of L'elisir d'amore. Well done Glyndebourne for encouraging the next generation of opera fans.
