Pre-order your 2013 Festival Programme
The Glyndebourne Festival Programme book has been published annually since 1952, with beautifully illustrated articles to complement the season’s repertoire. Originally inspired by the season-long Programme Book of the Aix-en-Provence Festival, industrialist Miki Sekers suggested to the then General Director Moran Caplat that something along similar lines would be ideal for Glyndebourne.
The 2013 Festival Programme will include season overview essays by Marina Warner on Myth and Anne MacNeil on Commedia dell'arte; Roger Parker and Carolyn Abbate on Wagner and Verdi; Cori Ellison on Hippolyte et Aricie, Andrew Mellor on Falstaff. Other features will include Guy Dammann's article on singer debuts in the 2013 Festival and John Allison's interview with Vladimir Jurowski.
The 2013 Festival Programme Book is now published. Pre order now to be well prepared for your Glyndebourne evening.
