New-look Glyndebourne Tour includes cinema screenings for first time
This autumn Glyndebourne’s annual tour hits the road with a new-look that for the first time sees cinema screenings taking place alongside on-stage performances. The move is part of a wider revamp that marks the most significant change to the Tour model in more than forty years.
Open auditions to recruit 90 people across Sussex to appear on the main stage at Glyndebourne opera house start next Saturday (29 September).

We’ll be running a pre-audition Man up! Workshop (for men only) which will take place on Saturday 22 September 2012 at The Birley Centre, Eastbourne College 10am -1pm.

Glyndebourne has been recognised as one of the top ten cultural attractions in the world in a new book from National Geographic.

Lovers Walk is a brand new one-act opera commissioned by Glyndebourne and created by Glyndebourne’s first ever Young-Composer-in-Residence, Luke Styles. This exciting new piece imagines four couples from different stages in history as they face challenging and compelling emotional struggles pursuing the ones they love, their lives become entwined by one common thread; Brighton’s Preston Park and its aptly named courting path, Lover’s Walk.
