Glyndebourne appoints a Dramaturg

Glyndebourne has appointed a Dramaturg to advise on specialist opera content for a range of initiatives including programme books, publications, media, and pre-performance talks and study events, and to provide support to Glyndebourne’s creative teams.

Cori Ellison, a leading creative figure in the opera world, will join the team on a part-time basis this autumn.  Previously staff dramaturg at New York City Opera from 1997-2010, Cori creates supertitles for opera companies across America and helped to launch Met Titles, the Met’s simultaneous translation system. In addition, she teaches opera dramaturgy for American Lyric Theater’s Composer-Librettist Development Program and regularly writes for the New York Times.

Why is there a time limit?

Due to demand from other customers seats are reserved for a maximum of 20 minutes in order to allow you to complete your purchase. If the order has not been completed within this time, all seats will be removed from your basket.
