Glyndebourne is delighted to have received news today of our Arts Council England funding for 2012-15. This is funding towards Glyndebourne on Tour and our Education work.

David Pickard, General Director of Glyndebourne, said:

“In this incredibly challenging economic climate we are thrilled that Arts Council England (ACE) has been able to continue to recognise the quality and value of Glyndebourne on Tour and its Education programme. We look forward to working with ACE to help achieve our shared objectives of artistic excellence, maximising audiences and offering children and young people the highest quality access to opera. This funding will allow Glyndebourne on Tour to continue to provide exceptional return on the investment being made by ACE, whilst delivering world-class performances to as broad an audience as possible through live performance and digital innovation, developing artists and audiences for the future and delivering an inspirational programme of education activity.”
