Additional Imago seats made available to the public

Following overwhelming public demand for tickets to Glyndebourne’s new community opera Imago, only standing places remain for the evening performances on 7, 8 and 9 March.

As a result, Glyndebourne has decided to open the schools performance at 11am on Wednesday 6 March to the public. This performance was originally only open to local schools to attend and therefore a significant number of the audience will be 16 years and under. Book online or by calling the Box Office on +44 (0) 1273 815000.

Imago is the latest community opera to appear on the main stage at Glyndebourne and is commissioned by Glyndebourne and Scottish Opera, The project has been made possible thanks to support from a number of individuals and organisations, including the National Lottery through Arts Council England, Beyond Borders from the PRS Foundation for Music and the MariaMarina Foundation. Find out more about Imago on the blog.

Why is there a time limit?

Due to demand from other customers seats are reserved for a maximum of 20 minutes in order to allow you to complete your purchase. If the order has not been completed within this time, all seats will be removed from your basket.
