Learning to walk on the wild side
The set for the 2012 Glyndebourne Festival production of Janáček's The Cunning Little Vixen includes a vertical back wall with a forest path which doubles as a subterranean glance into the animals lair. Get an insight from the dancers who were involved that had to walk the vertical path with only a wire attached to their pelvis, Interesting fact: Cast members refer to the set as the 'gerbilarium'.
