Information about coaches

There is a return coach service from Lewes Train station to Glyndebourne for all Festival and Tour performances at Glyndebourne. If booked online more than 24 hours in advance, the coach service is free of charge. When boarding the coach, please show your email confirmation on your phone or bring a print-out of the reservation. If no reservation has been made, a charge of £5.00 will be payable on boarding the coach.

How to book

Coach travel is available to ticket holders only on the date of attendance; booking is offered at the point of ticket purchase and can also be booked online up until 24 hours before the performance.

The booking system will display the dates you are attending and the number of tickets you have purchased. To book coach tickets select the date(s) required and follow the onscreen booking instructions to complete the reservation.

Please note that the reservation is valid for return coach travel, but can also be used for a single journey pre or post performance.

Why is there a time limit?

Due to demand from other customers seats are reserved for a maximum of 20 minutes in order to allow you to complete your purchase. If the order has not been completed within this time, all seats will be removed from your basket.
