Our exhibitions programme for 2024

We are delighted to present an array of visual art at Glyndebourne for you to enjoy during your visit and online throughout the year.

Featuring 17 contemporary artists working in print, painting, ceramics, stained glass and textiles, Fair Ground is a celebration of Sussex’s rich artistic output. Each featured work speaks to themes of personal mythology, collective memory, and Sussex’s natural landscape, reinforcing the region’s reputation as a place of visual poetry.

Fair Ground will be available to view at Glyndebourne from 10 October to 15 December for ticket holders for our Autumn 2024 season and by appointment. All the works in the exhibition are available to buy and prices start at £90. All purchases support our ongoing work.

As part of its 90-year anniversary celebrations, Glyndebourne has partnered with one of Britain’s leading artists, Conrad Shawcross RA, to produce an ambitious presentation of works with a distinct relationship to music and sound across our site. The nine large-scale outdoor sculptures will remain onsite until autumn 2025.
