Another great evening at Glyndebourne. Everything about the production, voices, acting, chorus and orchestra were well up to your highest standards. Nemarino was sung by stand in. He was brilliant but there was no hand out about him. Can you please let us know who he is, as he is certainly " one to watch "?
A beautifully staged production with an elegant set, good supporting voices and some excellent virtuosi. The evening was over far too quickly.
We enjoyed an evening of sunshine (on stage at least)full of humour and pathos, and fast action that moved the story on but did not distract from the delightful music. The young lovers were dazzling, the orchestral playing very crisp and full of life. The chorus looked good, moved well and sang splendidly. Thank you Glyndebourne
