How to join
Participants are welcome to join Glyndebourne Youth Opera 1 from 8 years old. Members are then able to progress through the groups to Glyndebourne Youth Opera 3 where most leave at 18 – 19 years old. Progression from one group to the next is agreed in collaboration with the group leaders and the Education Department and is not dependant on age. We will assess each participant individually to ensure that they have had everything a group has to offer before joining the next one. Participants are welcome at any age and will enter Glyndebourne Youth Opera at a level decided by the team based on the criteria of each group. New members can join at any stage subject to places being available.
