Current projects

Glyndebourne Education has been running a diverse and varied programme of projects, activities, productions and events since the department began in 1986.

Glyndebourne is dedicated to inspiring a love of opera and has organised projects involving local people and aspiring young performers for over 20 years. In this section of the website you can discover details of recent and upcoming projects.

Currently our Education Department is working with schools, HMP Lewes, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and people with dementia and their carers in our community.

In the past we have worked with primary and secondary schools, special needs organisations and youth groups. We produced a 'Hip H'Opera' in collaboration with artists from across Europe.

The Vixen Composition Project is in partnership with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and is inspired by The Cunning Little Vixen.
