Director Jonathan Kent on The Fairy Queen
Jonathan Kent, director of the 2009 production of Henry Purcell's The Fairy Queen. The opera, which was first staged in 1692 is based on Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. The 2009 production was a combination of spoken word, music, dance and spectacular costume and set changes.
